The Retail Vendor Marketing Manager utilizes a wide range of skills and works across functional areas such as commercial team, category marketing, digital marketing and content creation to drive the performance of strategic vendor partners at Amazon through Retail Media.This position will develop strategic plans based on category and vendor’s needs, by analyzing a wide range of marketing and merchandising metrics, to grow vendor’s traffic, brand awareness, customer engagement and overall revenue to Amazon. This role will autonomously create comprehensive marketing proposals, define pricing strategy, create go-to-market plans and engage directly with multiple internal teams to optimize and deliver the plan. This role will also manage direct reports and contribute to people development.Retail Vendor Marketing role is in the Product Marketing career path at Amazon and offer an opportunity of greater responsibility and professional development into a variety of areas including Digital Marketing, Site-Merchandising, Vendor Management and Marketing Strategy.Key job responsibilities
– Excel knowledge
– Analysis of marketing metrics and sales
– Trade Marketing and Retail Media development plan
– Project Management
– People ManagementBASIC QUALIFICATIONS– Professional experience in marketing, BI or project management;
– Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements;
– Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables);
– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion;
– Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs
– Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives
