Report to: Global Programme Manager, Sugar SustainabilityJob Purpose
Regional coordinator for NDPE Sugar implementation, with main task the Supplier Reporting Tool (SRT) roll out. Second focus is to support commercial in direct engagement with sugar producers.
The focus will be on Brazil with potential expansion to other Latam regions.Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage and implement NDPE Sugar with suppliers in Brazil, including:
• Introduce and onboard Brazilian sugar mills to NDPE Sugar SRT platform
• Build strong relationship with sugar mills and assist them in improving SRT scores and hence their Sustainability journey.
• Develop and execute supplier engagement activities and capacity building for NDPE Sugar
• Development and production of relevant periodic reports on SRT implementation progress and mill performance
• Provide feedback and suggest corrections on SRT platform and process to HQ, for an optimal execution of the SRT for Brazilian (and Latam) market
• Assist with Traceability queries, where necessary.
• Assist with carbon emission and satellite monitoring projects, where necessary.
• Supporting comprany Sugar Brazil trading team in handling of NDPE Sugar related queries and direct engagement with sugar producers
• Assist with SRT roll out and supplier engagement activities in the larger Latam region, where applicable
• Develop and implement customer engagement strategies for NDPE Sugar initiative.
• Engage with customers and provide capacity building on NDPE Sugar where applicable
• Represent company NDPE Sugar within relevant external stakeholder engagement activities, including but not limited to multi-stakeholder platforms, NGOs, etc.
• Represent NDPE Sugar on e.g Tradeshows where applicable
• Close collaboration with NDPE Sugar sustainability HQ
• Fully align with HQ NDPE Sugar strategy
• Work with NDPE Sugar Marketing Comms office to create relevant material

Qualifications & Competencies

• Graduate degree in relevant field (eg Agriculture, Environmental / Social Sciences, etc)
• Working experience in relevant field (ie supply chain, agriculture, certification scheme, etc), relevant to sustainability implementation
• Experience in project management, sustainability implementation and stakeholder engagement
• Proficient in communicating complex issues
• Preference for candidates with experience in carbon footprint calculations
• Preference for candidates with understanding of/experience in sugar industry
• Driving license
• Analytical, attention to detail, good decisions/ recommendations towards resolutions
• Able to work Independently and be resourceful.
• Flexible in working hours.
• Show high level of integrity and trust
• Proficient in written and oral communication in English and Portuguese, Spanish would be an added advantage
