Descrição da Vaga: In this position, you will coordinate business requirements for Group/Local IFRS reporting and IT development to ensure alignment to policy work and change management policy.About the RoleAs a subject matter expert for the IFRS Controlling & Reporting of CorSo Swiss Re Latin America, the candidate will understand relevant accounting principles, operational and financial processes, and financial statement requirements on all levels of reporting. This includes the ability to drive discussions with Swiss Re business leaders, connect business activities to impacts on financial results and is a strategic thinker. A successful candidate will also understand complex financial transactions and related accounting implications. The position offers a unique opportunity for career development.

• Coordination and alignment with the Business Unit IFRS Consolidation team and Workstreams, managing communication with relevant stakeholders.
• Preparing detailed quarterly IFRS financials to the Corporate Solutions Business.
• Assist in the interpretation of policy work and ensure process and system changes within the IT landscape, coordinating system changes.
• Support change management enhancing quarterly reporting processes and applications used for Group Level IFRS reporting.
• Support and further develop quarterly analytical requirements for local IFRS and Group IFRS reporting.
• Critical issue process management.

About the TeamThis Subject Matter Expert will report to the IFRS LatAm Team Lead, as part of a team of 3 professionals working on the implementation of IFRS 17. The main stakeholders include Corporate Solutions Business Unit CFO, Group Accounting, IT and various others.About YouMust have:

• College graduate in Accounting.
• Solid understanding of IFRS 17 accounting and experience in external reporting.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver quality output on short deadlines and manage details without losing site of the “big picture”
• Excellent command of English. Spanish is desirable.

Nice to have:

• Navigate ambiguity and ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and prioritize accordingly.
• CPA certification or equivalent preferred; Big 4 experience is a plus.
• 7+ years insurance experience preferred.
• Proven experience in delivering a transformation project.
• Flexibility to work in both a collaborative team environment as well as independently.
