You will partner with customers and several AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems. As a trusted customer advocate, the solutions architect will help organizations understand best practices around cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. You will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build mindshare and broad use of AWS within organizations ranging from new start-ups to large enterprise customers. . Build a strong foundation of knowledge around AWS cloud services and the cloud ecosystem
. Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS
. Assist with training sessions for customers considering or already using AWS
. Collaborate with experienced solutions architects to craft and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community
. Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and supportBASIC QUALIFICATIONS– Experience with one of the following programming languages: Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C++
– Experience with two or more of the following: networking fundamentals, security, storage or databases (relational or NoSQL), operating systems (Unix, Linux, or Windows)
– English fluent, written and verbal.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– Experience implementing a cloud-based technology solution
– Experience in any of the following: Cloud Architecture, Systems Design, Software Development, Infrastructure Architecture, Data Engineering or DevOps
– Experience working in a customer-facing role
– Knowledge of cloud native architectures
– Technical degree desired; Electrical, Computer, or Networking Engineering, Information Technology, MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
