The Amazon Devices business is looking for an analytical, entrepreneurial and creative Sales Planner for the Brazilian Amazon Devices Offline Retail Team. This team is tasked with working with Brazilian retailers to create a world-class offline selling experience for Amazon Devices.
We are looking for a Sales Planner based in São Paulo who will be responsible to support account decision-makers to achieve shared goals of the Brazilian Offline Retail Channel. The person in this role will be responsible for defining and delivering sales strategy and will have P&L responsibility for Channel accounts, identifying how to best meet customer needs, achieving goals and then assist the team to execute on the defined plan.
The successful candidate has strong data-driven skills and shown past-role experience in influencing business owners and supporting decision making in rapidly evolving environments. Moreover, must have the ability to quickly formulate plans that are deeply backed by data and execute across many work functions simultaneously. He or she will work closely with the Head of Offline Channel to maximize strategies for new and existing retailers, as well as partner with the Amazon Devices Product and Marketing teams, and Brazilian device’s distributor. Candidate must possess demonstrated decision making, problem solving, and negotiating skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Model and forecast business metrics for the purpose of making strategic decisions for accounts.
- Use data to make the best decisions for customers.
- Advise and execute retail growth strategy and trading terms for key accounts.
- Implement sales strategies and best practices for business development.
- Be the key point of contact and relationship owner of our Distributor.
- Work with Amazon Devices Channel Manager, Trade Marketing, Marketing, Supply and Product Management teams to implement program specific offers and promotions, and to deliver maximum benefits for the assigned accounts.
- Manage promotional campaigns planning and results.
- Identify new customer experiences and programs to achieve sales goals.
- Be accountable for driving the Channel’s sale in Brazil, from new product launches to post-launch, accounts expansion and demand generation.
- Manage and develop key Channel projects.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience in retail and/or consulting project management, sales and inventory management.
· Analytical, data-driven approach to problem solving and a track record of driving results through continuous improvement.
· Strong data analysis and project management skills, ownership, as well as comfortable with computer databases and tools.
· High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
· A bachelor’s degree is required.
· English and Portuguese fluency.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or similar Supply Chain/Operations discipline.
· M.B.A. is preferred.
· Relevant work experience in purchasing management, ecommerce and retail, with consumer electronics or high-tech products, supply chain and/or S&OP.
· Brick and mortar stores management expertise.
· Independence and flexibility.
· Accomplished range of skills from high-level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution.
· Experience leading projects to improve processes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· 3-5 years account management experience working with large national retailers and/or commercial experience in national retailers.
· A bachelor’s degree is required.
· History of effectively managing external customers and/or in retailer’s commercial roles.
· Strong analytical skills (experience with MS Excel required).
· Fluency in verbal and written communications in English and Portuguese
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· M.B.A. is preferred.
· 4-6 years of relevant work experience in sales/account management, ecommerce and retail, with consumer electronics or high-tech products.
· Brick and mortar stores management expertise.
