• as a FP&A Specialist, you will play a crucial role in cost control (for whole UBS LatAm operation) and financial planning and analysis activities for the Investment Banking operations in LatAm
• the overall objective is to contribute to directional strategy as well as utilize in-depth specialty knowledge to construct and provide advice/counsel on the evaluation of financial reports
• this role will give you the opportunity to build a strong knowledge base across multiple finance specialist areas including accounting, product control and tax planning

Ready to be part of #teamUBS and make an impact?Your teamOur team specializes in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) for various segments, including Global Banking, Global Markets, and Wealth Management, at a leading Swiss wholesale bank in Brazil. With our expertise and deep understanding of the financial sector, we provide strategic insights and support to drive the bank’s performance and growth in these key areas. Our dedicated professionals are committed to delivering high-quality analysis and reporting, ensuring informed decision-making and robust financial management for our clients, in a challenging and inclusive.Your expertise

• 5 -10 years’ experience in FP&A, cost control, or related financial roles
• bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus
• ideally in English
• experience with budget development, forecast and strategic plan
• strong knowledge of financial modeling and data analysis
• excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• ability to work independently and make informed decisions
• advanced proficiency in Excel, including VBA
• experience translating financial data into meaningful reports and dashboards
• experience with data engineering (ETL) and data manipulation language (eg. SQL, Python, R) is a plus
• strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
