Read on and apply today for a life-changing career.The PositionAs the Sr. Tax Analyst at Novo Nordisk in Brazil, you will ensure timely and accurate submission of all municipal, state, and federal obligations related to company activities, utilizing tax legislation to prevent potential fines. The role entails reconciliation and analysis of tax accounts, staying current with tax legislation, and providing support for tax audits. Additionally, responsibilities include overseeing invoice management, providing key information to various areas of the company, supporting audits and disputes, and optimizing resources through innovative process improvements, automation, and digitalization. This position is to work in São Paulo, SP (this professional will also support our afiliated in Montes Claros, MG).Your responsabilities includes:

• Calculate all indirect taxes, such as ICMS, IPI, ICMS-ST, ICMS-Difal, PIS, COFINS, and ISS, and taxes withheld at the source, applying tax legislation to prevent tax liabilities.
• Control, complete, and submit all municipal, state, and federal obligations related to the company’s activities on time, applying tax legislation to prevent fines.
• Reconcile tax accounts, analysing and reclassifying all accounting accounts related to taxes.
• Stay updated on tax legislation, provide support and preparation of documentation for tax audits, and ensure compliance.
• Record and control the entry and exit of invoices, including electronically validating XML before registration and issuing occasional invoices.
• Analyse and provide information to other areas of the company as well as GBS regarding possible activities and operations, to minimize tax costs and/or risk, and support tax audits and disputes.

Qualifications

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Law, or Business Administration.
• This person is expected to have fluent oral and written English. It will be tested.
• We expect a candidate with strong experience in Indirect Taxes, in the phamaceutical industry it will be a plus.
• Nice to have experience in ERP Systems such as SAP, SAP Hana among others.
• If you present proficieny in the Spanish language and experience in Direct Taxes it will be a diferential.
