Descrição da Vaga: We are looking to hire a leader to elevate the last-mile service provided to merchants within the Uber Direct Platform. This is a unique opportunity to partner closely with the Brazil General Manager for Direct, collaborating on country strategy, and establishing the vision and priorities for the local Ops team. Additionally, you will work with cross-functional teams, the LatAm Product & Expansion Direct team, and Central Ops leaders.In this role, you will gain a comprehensive view of the end-to-end last-mile delivery journey and develop a broad understanding of the market, competition, and merchant value propositions. You will also engage with the LatAm leadership team, overseeing country deep dives and performance business reviews.What You’ll Do

• Build strong, impactful relationships with key stakeholders, aligning strategy with the GM and regional teams around Uber’s goals in Brazil.
• Enhance reliability, developing actionable solutions that drive implementation while keeping the big picture in mind.
• Create a high-performing team, setting a high standard for operations.
• Set the vision for the team, seamlessly navigating from strategic to tactical tasks, and rolling up your sleeves when necessary to ensure projects are delivered on time and with the required quality, adjusting priorities as needed.

What You’ll Need

• Advanced stakeholder management skills with experience in building strong relationships and influencing across functions in a matrix organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and shift priorities as needed.
• Comfort with handling challenging Q&As and ad hoc speaking requests with limited preparation.
• Experience in solving strategically and analytically complex business problems using data-driven decision-making and sound business judgment.
• Previous experience in dynamic and fast-paced work environments.
• Experience with Operations and cross-functional teams (Legal/Tax/Policy).
• Working knowledge of SQL is preferred
