Your contribution at AIG

You are respected for your expertise and/or ability to grow, add value, diversify product and type of distribution with AIG Sponsors. You balance the needs of multiple stakeholders, making sound decisions using data, analytic, experience to drive campaign execution with KPIs achievement as per campaign approval. Ultimately, you take ownership for key outcomes.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Develop strategies, plan and execute sponsor’s sales/ marketing plans to maximize revenue generation from existing partners to achieve target both topline and bottom line.

2. Constantly propose to existing Sponsors new ideas, initiatives, products, distribution channel with the purpose to be constantly adding value to the Sponsor and to the relationship with AIG. If the initiative is accepted by the Sponsor, the Account Manager is responsible for building the strategy, planning, define the target expected, KPI’s projected and executing the campaign.

3. Responsible for executing the discipline of cross-selling an up-selling after 3 months of selling the initial product.

4. Responsible for conducting campaign analysis per month by using quantitively and qualitive reporting tools in the analysis of each campaign monitoring the results obtained per month with the KPI’s established for each campaign. If deviation is identified proposed to the DDM Manager corrective actions: what to do, why does the account manager recommend that specific action, when to do it, what would be the effect, what is the benefit (additional premium, persistency increase, etc.). Once approved propose to Sponsor.

5. Work co-ordinately with the other team members of DDM, the LOB, and support functions: Operations, Claims, Submissions, Marketing, etc. for campaigns implementation and monthly performances.

6. Liaise with campaign management team, call center and relevant internal and external stakeholders for campaign implementation and ongoing campaign performance.

7. Achieve per month per campaign per Sponsor: TARP, NWP, campaign profitability targets and spend efficiency.

8. Control and manage Profit and loss of overall campaign launched.

9. Ensure timely implementation, pre-and post-campaign control and communication, and administration.

10. Ensure submission of marketing plan and obtain approval from local and regional management for marketing budget for new campaign launches.

11. When launching a Digital Direct Marketing campaign coordinate with internal areas and sponsor the management of the platform, strategic product design, planning, execution with monthly control of the KPI’s applied to Digital Campaigns.

12. Dealing with Telemarketing, Product team (LOB) and other related parties and drive for an excellence performance outcome.

13. Participate in product development, competitor’s analysis, business plan, budget and any other brainstorm session that will encourage, promote the profit to the distribution or enhance customer’s satisfaction.

14. Other responsibilities as assigned by immediate supervisor or head of department.

15. Represent AIG in the market to extend the reach, presence and create awareness on direct marketing opportunities for sponsors.

16. Maintain the discipline of weekly meetings with Sponsors, to identify new opportunities and deepen AIG relationship with the Sponsor.

17. Communicate on market trends and competition.

18. Preparation of yearly annual budget and agreed financial performance targets for the respective sponsors

19. Ad-hoc functions as and when required.
