The individual for this role will be the Procurement Coordinator for Inorganics and Petrochemicals portfolios for Latam, managing a chemicals portfolio with 660 M EUR spend and big relevance to Home Care.

With strong collaboration with global teams and regional/local supply chain, R&D, planning and business, the individual will have to manage supplier relationship, sourcing strategy implementation, short and long term procurement plans, increasing competitiveness while also delivering savings, consistent strong service and resilience. Important focus of supply markets, competitors, new products costing, material price forecast, reporting, tracking, price trend and price mismatches analysis.

What you can expect from the role?

• Represent Global Inorganics and Petrochemicals Teams in Latin America, also assist the global teams in collecting the relevant internal data (volumes, approved suppliers, business needs, constrains.
• Develop/Implement new suppliers and sourcing alternatives aligned with global teams for both portfolios
• Deliver Key Performance Indicators’ such as Value Improvement Programs, Innovation Delivery, Payment Terms Extension, Cost Target, Gross Margin Improvement, price mismatch analysis and resolution.
• Responsible for negotiation and daily operations including contract maintain, forecast input and RSP follow up for local items portfolios.
• Close working with Suppliers and consuming countries to ensure material availability.
• Run & support supplier relationships also internal relationship with procurement market teams
• Lead and resolve all local portfolio supplier compliance requirements and gaps (SQA, RSP, Living Wage)
• Responsible to understand local competitors’ movements for raw materials prices, analyse opportunities with global teams plans to leverage Unilever competitiveness.
• Understand last mile opportunities working with procurement logistics and global teams
• Maintain regular engagement and collaboration with global procurement teams and market teams within the BU; deploy price forecasts into the BUs.
• Utilize knowledge of LATAM to setup right supplier partnership.
• Quality and Service mindset to drive consumer satisfaction and business growth.
• Develop expertise regarding Unilever HC competitors and guarantee global teams are aligned with opportunities.

Does this sound like you?

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Strong understanding of LATAM sourcing supplier network.
• Multi-lingual – Spanish and English professional proficiency
• Experience in supplier relationship and performance management including negotiation, contracting and business reviews for performance improvement.
• Global Mindset, collaborative approach to problem solving, real accountability, action bias, positive peer engagement, perseverance, flexibility, agility and passion for success.
• Evidence of ability to work in virtual teams and global/regional environments.
• Excellent Excel and PPT skills.
• Good Analytical and Communication Skills
• Able to work in fast paced environment and manage timelines.
• Good at stakeholders’ management for both of internal and external
• Be a person who think out of the box with disruptive idea
